3D Scope 1st Gen - Troubleshooting Light status

    Overview

    This article is to help resolve communications issues based on the light status.


    If your unit is no longer communicating, inmost cases following the below steps will resolve this issue


    If there is no light status

    In most cases this means that the unit is not getting power


    Follow these quick steps:

    1) Confirm that the network cable is firmly connected to the 3D Scope network port

    2) Confirm that the network cable is firmly connected to the POE Injector

    3) Confirm that the POE Injector is properly connected to a power source




    If the light status is red:

    This light status means that the unit is getting power but it is not discovering or connecting the network


    Follow these steps quick steps:

    1) Confirm that the network cable is firmly connected to the 3D Scope network port

    2) Confirm that the network cable is firmly connected to the POE Injector "Power + Data" Port

    3) Confirm that the POE Injector is properly connected to a power source

    4) Confirm that the POE Injector "Lan In" Port is firmly connected on both ends


    If the light status is green:

    In most cases this means that the unit is getting power and it is establishing network communication


    Follow these steps quick steps:

    1) Confirm that the POE Injector "Lan In" Port is firmly connected on both ends


    Your unit should now be online.
