When a location is closing, relocating, or no longer using a device, you can extract (download) the data first and then delete the location to avoid unnecessary data storage or billing.
This article, with a video below, walks you through both steps.
Step 1: Extract (Download) Data for a Location

- Navigate to Analytics>Reports
- Select the date range for the data you want to export
- Choose the “Data Export” report
- Put a checkmark on all criteria and then click on “Submit"
- An Excel file will be produced, and saved to your computer or internal storage system.
Step 2: Delete a Location from T.M.A.S.
Once your data has been successfully extracted, you can safely delete the location.
To delete a location:
- In T.M.A.S., go to Administration> Manage Locations.
- Select the location you wish to remove

- All required data has been extracted
- Devices are no longer installed at this location
- Click Delete Location.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
⚠️ Important:
Deleting a location permanently removes all associated data.
This action cannot be undone.
