How do I rename a device in the Storetraffic app?

Learn to easily rename your device in the StoreTraffic app for better organization and management.

    To rename a Pearl or 3DScope device in the Storetraffic app, open the device detail screen from your location's device list and use the Rename Device action.

    Steps

    1. Open the Storetraffic app and navigate to the location where the device is installed.
    2. Tap the Devices icon or select Devices from the location menu to open the device list.

    1. Tap the edit pencil icon on the device row you want to rename.

    1. On the Device detail screen, tap Rename Device.
    2. Enter a new name (up to 50 characters). The name cannot be left empty.
    3. Tap Save to confirm.

    Notes

    • Renaming a device requires write access (Initial Free App account or T.M.A.S. Chain and User admin). Read-only accounts do not see the Rename, Configure WiFi, or Delete actions on the device detail screen.
    • The device name can be up to 50 characters and cannot be blank.
    • Renaming does not affect historical traffic data or reports.
    • The updated name appears immediately in the device list and across all reports for that location.
