3D Scope II - Pushing firmware from T.M.A.S.

    Overview

    T.M.A.S. now allows customers to push the latest firmware updates to their 3D Scope II cameras.

    Updates are highly recommended because they improve camera performance, ensure compatibility with the latest T.M.A.S. features, and provide new functionality that enhances security, accuracy, and reliability of the system.

    How do I know what firmware my camera currently has installed?

    The current version will be listed under the Firmware column in T.M.A.S.' Equipment Inventory

    How do I know which updates are available?

    The latest updates are listed on the following page:

    Procedure

    1. Select the Location where the device needs updating
    2. Go to the Administration tab
    3. Click Equipment Inventory
    4. On the Equipment Inventory page, click on the Upgrade link
    The following pop-up will open.

    5. Put a checkmark next to the device that needs updating

    6. From the drop-down menu, select when you’d like the update to occur.

    7. If you select On Schedule, you’ll be able to set the exact date and time for the firmware update.

    8. Once all parameters are set, click Submit.

    Once the firmware has been updated, the camera will reboot by itself and the firmware update will be completed.

    How can I know that the firmware update was successful?

    1. After the update completes, click Refresh
    2. Check the Firmware column to confirm the device now shows the updated version.
