When the Pearl is Unable to Communicate with the Internet
If the Pearl cannot connect to the internet, follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Verify the Wi-Fi Network:
- Ensure the Pearl is connected to a 2.4GHz network, as it is not compatible with 5GHz networks.
- If a 2.4GHz network is unavailable, create a separate one for the Pearl devices.

Check Firewall Settings:
- Confirm the Pearl’s MAC address (xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx) is whitelisted and allowed to connect to the internet.
Support Assistance
Once the Pearl is communicating with the internet, SMS support can proceed to add the device to your T.M.A.S. equipment inventory using its MAC address. If the issue persists after troubleshooting, please contact SMS support for further assistance.
