Reimport POS Data with Launch Back in T.M.A.S.

🔄 Reimport POS Data Using the “Launch back” Feature
Sometimes sync issues can result in missing or incomplete sales, transaction, or item data in your T.M.A.S. reports. With the new Generic Data Reimport tool, Chain Managers can now re-sync historical POS data starting from a selected date (up to 60 days back).
✅ What This Does
This tool re-polls your POS system (e.g., Shopify) starting from a chosen date, allowing T.M.A.S. to fill in gaps in Sales, Transactions, and Units Sold.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Reimporting may overwrite existing data from the selected date forward.
🔐 Who Can Access It
To use this feature:
- You must be logged in as Chain and User Manager (T.M.A.S. Admin)
- Retail Subscription active
📍 How to Access the Reimport Tool

Follow these steps:
1. Select the Chain
Use the Location Options dropdown to select TOP LEVEL CHAIN
.
2. Go to Administration
Expand Administration from the main menu.
3. Click “Manage Locations”
Under the Administration section.
4. Choose “Import / Export Data / P.O.S Integration”
This displays your list of import configurations.
5. Click the 🔁 Launch back icon
Find the row of the import you want to re-sync (e.g., Test Historical, Format: Shopify) and click the circular arrow icon in the Actions column.
6. 📅 Choose the Reimport Start Date
Once you click “Launch back,” you’ll see a confirmation window.
Select a date (up to 60 days back) from which you want to reimport data.
Click Launch back to confirm.
The system will then re-poll the POS and begin reimporting data from the selected date.
💡 When to Use This Tool
Use this feature if:
A POS system had connectivity issues
You are missing sales/transaction data in reports
Data hasn't synced properly and you want to restore it
🛑 Note
This will overwrite existing data from the selected date forward. Use with caution if you’ve already manually updated or reviewed the data for those days.
