Which time zone do I select for a 3DScope II in Canada?
Which time zone to select for a 3DScope II in Canada after November 1, 2026: Pacific Time in BC, Saskatchewan for AB and SK, and Bogota for Manitoba.
Table of Contents
For a 3DScope II added after November 1, 2026, select Pacific Time (America/Vancouver) in British Columbia, Saskatchewan (America/Regina, GMT-06:00) in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and Bogota (America/Bogota, GMT-05:00) in Manitoba.
Which time zone do I select for my province?
| Province | Select this time zone | Why |
|---|---|---|
| British Columbia | Pacific Time (British Columbia) — America/Vancouver | BC stays on daylight time all year, so Pacific Time no longer moves back an hour in November.
|
| Alberta | Saskatchewan — America/Regina (GMT-06:00) |
Alberta stays on daylight time all year, so its offset is permanently GMT-06:00. Regina uses that offset year round.
|
| Saskatchewan |
Saskatchewan — America/Regina (GMT-06:00)
|
Saskatchewan does not observe daylight time, so this zone is correct all year.
|
| Manitoba | Bogota — America/Bogota (GMT-05:00) |
Manitoba stays on daylight time all year, so its offset is permanently GMT-05:00.
|
| All other provinces | No change | Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces keep the seasonal clock change, so their current time zone is still correct. |
Notes
- Nothing to do on existing devices. Locations and 3DScope devices in BC, AB, MB and SK were updated centrally before November 1, 2026.
- Do not change the time zone on a device that already has traffic. On 3DScope devices, a time zone change also re-bases stored traffic, which moves historical counts. Contact Support first.
- Legacy STC counters use a different time zone mapping and do not follow the values above. Contact Support before changing an STC device.
- If a device was offline across November 1, check its first readings after it reconnects. Counts recorded before the change can appear an hour out, and can be corrected.
- Calibration is booked with the Success team and is separate from the time zone setting.
