Why am I seeing a subscription or licensing alert in T.M.A.S.?
T.M.A.S. shows a subscription alert when no credit card is on file, even for prepaid accounts. Learn why, how to add a card, and when NET30 applies.
Table of Contents
The T.M.A.S. subscription alert appears when your account has an active subscription but no credit card on file. To clear it, a user with Chain & User Manager access adds a credit card under Manage Subscription(s) → Manage Credit Card(s). The alert also appears for prepaid customers. A card is still needed on file for renewals and future charges, such as adding a device.
The alert reads:
It looks like no credit card has been set up to pay your subscription(s). Please ensure that one is added so that your account remains in good standing.

Add a credit card in T.M.A.S.
You need Chain & User Manager access.
- Click your username in the top-right corner.
- Click Manage Subscription(s).
- Click Manage Credit Card(s).
- Click +Add.
- Enter your card details. T.M.A.S. accepts AMEX, Visa and Mastercard.
- Check Use as Default Credit Card.
- Complete the I am not a robot check.
- Click Add.
The alert clears once a card is on file. For full details, see Managing Credit Cards.
I prepaid for 1–3 years. Why am I still asked to add a card?
The alert checks whether a card is on file. It doesn't check whether your current term is paid, so prepaid accounts see it too. Your prepaid subscription stays active.
A card on file is still needed for:
- your next renewal: Storetraffic contacts you before your term ends to review upcoming charges, and you can update the card then.
- charges during your term: for example, adding a device to your account.
If you'd rather not keep a card on file, email success@storetraffic.com to ask about a NET30 invoice account.
Pay by invoice (NET30)
NET30 lets you pay by invoice instead of credit card. To apply, email success@storetraffic.com. You'll fill out a form, and Storetraffic's finance team runs a credit check. Accounts of $1,000 USD or more may also qualify for other payment methods.
Do I need a credit card for T.M.A.S.?
Yes, unless you have an approved NET30 invoice account. Customers approved for another payment method before April 2019 can keep using it.
I have Chain & User Manager access but don't see Manage Subscriptions. What do I do?
Another permission may be conflicting. Keep only Chain & User Manager checked on your user, save, then log out and back in. If it still doesn't appear, contact Support.
